Certification

On 29th June 2023 the Official Journal of the European Union published the text of a new regulation of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2023/1230 on machinery. On 4th July 2023 a corrigendum of this regulation was issued.

With reference to the stipulation of article 47, clause no. 2 of regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/425 we announce that validity of all EC type-examination certificates issued by VVUÚ, a.s. under Council Directive 89/686/EEC expired to the date of 21st April 2023.

This year, VVUÚ will celebrate its 70th anniversary. During these seven decades, we have transformed ourselves from a research institute specializing in mining safety into a modern and dynamic company with an extensive portfolio of services in testing, risk analysis and product certification.
